Hi, I'm Amy and welcome to Halo Massage
I am a fully qualified and insured level 3 sports massage therapist providing treatments from my home clinic in Chippenham. Every Thursday I work from Harringtons Beauty Salon in Devizes. I also offer a mobile service around the local area, if you would prefer a massage in the comfort of your own home.
Sports massage is a form if deep tissue manipulation which works on reducing tension in specific muscles and improving range of movement to restore balance to the body. My treatment involves myofascial release techniques to target trigger points in the connective tissue surrounding the muscles which can be a cause of chronic pain. Not just for athletes, sports massage is effective for anyone suffering from muscular pain.
In my free time I enjoy pole fitness and indoor climbing so I know the aches, pains and potential injuries which can follow physical activity, as well as the postural issues caused by desk work. I have personally found sports massage to be extremely beneficial in reducing chronic pain and I look forward to helping others with similar problems.

A light massage to relax muscles & flush out toxins to lessen muscle soreness, ideally 2-6 hours after the event (about 20 minutes)

I regularly have my shoulders worked on by Amy due to doing gymnastics. I wish I had taken before and after photos, my range of movement is better after one session and continues to improve and I feel more relaxed.
